For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.
— Ecclesiastes 3:1
When I created this blog in February 2011, I had no idea where it would take me and how many wonderful readers I would get to meet along the way. The last seven years have been full of adventures both in real life and in this virtual space. I published a book, and the seeds of another book (someday?) took root right here in this space.
The first part of this year has been challenging for me, nothing more than “first world” problems, but daunting nonetheless.
The passage in Ecclesiastes goes on to say that there’s “a time to keep silence, and a time to speak” (v. 7). It’s time for me to to be silent in this space for a bit, to manage those problems that have come my way for this season, to figure out what’s next.
I wanted to leave you with something beautiful, and there has been nothing more beautiful in my garden so far this year than these rhododendrons.
I don’t know how long I’ll step away. Until the next time, be well, and be kind to one another. And be sure to notice all the beauty that surrounds you.
Blessings,
Hope
Hope to meet you again especially with your beautiful flowers
Thank you for your kind words. I look forward to being back after some time away from this space.
I have enjoyed following you. I am in a similar time of reflection about my writing and blog. Traveling mercies. Let’s connect soon.
Thank you. I’d love to connect sometime soon. I know it’s a busy season for you.
